Position: Senior Manager (Philanthropy, Partnerships)
2. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, cultivate, solicit and maintain key relations with a portfolio of contacts (current and prospective donors) with the view to match their giving interests with company’s funding priorities and needs at the Major Gift level.
Lead and facilitate gift structuring to optimize donor’s gift purpose and manage the process of closing the gift.
Proactively identify, develop and deliver engagement opportunities to donors to ensure the maximization of their financial and non-financial support.
Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting of fundraising activities.
Collaborate with colleagues in Major Gift, General Giving, Stewardship, Advancement Communications, Prospect Research, and Advancement Operations to develop and maintain a coordinated approach in support of overall departmental and wide goals.
Guide junior level fundraisers in their fundraising efforts and as part of effective moves management, work with General Giving team to cultivate and steer donors to the next level of giving.
Capacity Building, through on-the job training as well as mentoring of fundraising colleagues at both HQ and charity funds.
3. REQUIREMENTS
(a) Education/Training/Experience
At least 8 years of experience in fundraising with proven and tangible track record in the amount of funds raised.
Have at least 3 years’ experience in managing a team of 2-3 persons with diverse experience.
Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders and management.
Demonstrated experience managing complex and diverse relationships and the proven ability to operate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Healthcare or research fundraising experience will be an advantage.
At least a degree in any discipline, such as arts, business, marketing, or communications.
Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
