Position: Senior Manager / Manager (Community Partnerships and Outreach)

What The Role Is

The Culture Pass Unit is a newly established inter-disciplinary department within the Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (MCCY). This department is tasked with leading a groundbreaking national initiative aimed at fostering cultural engagement and participation among a targeted demographic within our community. The goal of this initiative is to democratise access to arts and culture, encourage exploration and appreciation of diverse local arts and cultural offerings, and support the growth and sustainability of the local cultural ecosystem.

What You Will Be Working On

In this role, you will drive awareness and participation in the scheme by building and nurturing relationships with community partners.

Partnership Development and Management

Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with community organisations, arts and heritage partners, and other relevant partners to promote the scheme and drive the utilisation of SG Culture Pass credits.

Develop partnership agreements and collaborative initiatives that drive participation in arts and heritage programmes under the scheme.

Work with partners to facilitate group visits to eligible arts and heritage events.

Initiate and drive partnerships that support the outreach to underserved communities and groups with low participation rates.

Curate suitable programmes with partners to cater to a diverse range of needs to ensure that all citizens benefit from SG Culture Pass.

Amplifying Awareness through Partners’ Channels

Leverage partners’ marketing and communication channels to broaden awareness of the scheme.

Identify amplification opportunities and support partners in implementing them.

Provide partners with relevant information, promotional assets, and training where necessary to effectively communicate the scheme’s benefits.

Monitor and assess the impact of outreach initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Monitoring and Reporting

Track participation metrics, feedback from partners, and the effectiveness of outreach activities.

Prepare regular reports on partnership outcomes, community engagement levels, and areas for improvement.

What We Are Looking For

This role is ideal for a resourceful and proactive individual who is passionate about driving community participation and ensuring equitable access to arts and heritage experiences through thoughtful partnerships and outreach initiatives.

Experiences

Minimum of 5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership management, or business development roles.

Experience in developing new partnership opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and/or working with community organisations on public engagement initiatives.

Practical experience in planning and executing community events or group activities.

Familiarity with the local arts or heritage sector is advantageous.

Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Personality Traits

Empathy and understanding of the needs of digitally challenged individuals and underserved groups.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
