Job Description
Manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives
Identify HR priorities, anticipate future workforce needs, and develop plans to develop, and retain top talent.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Forecasting talent requirements and budgeting.Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and hires qualified candidates
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems and processes that align individual and team goals with organizational objectives.
Manage employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.Advise and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the organisation.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees
Learning and Development: Develop and execute an L&D strategy aligned with the NGO’s mission, values, and goals.
HR Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with applicable laws and regulations
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Preferably experience in designing and managing learning and development programs, preferably within the nonprofit or NGO sector.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to social impact, social justice, and the values of the NGO sector.
Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), online collaboration tools.
