Role Description
The Senior Director of Philanthropy is a full-time hybrid role located in the Greater Fort Collins Area, with opportunities for remote work. This position oversees comprehensive fundraising programs, including planned giving, annual giving, and donor engagement strategies. Responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major donors and prospects, setting strategic philanthropic goals, managing prospect research activities, and leading stewardship efforts. The Senior Director will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful giving campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Planned Giving, Philanthropy, and managing high-impact philanthropic strategies
- Experience with Annual Giving and Prospect Research to identify, assess, and engage potential donors
- Proficiency in Stewardship approaches to nurture long-term donor relationships
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage donor relations and cross-departmental collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or a similar role
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Denver Rescue Mission
