Leadership Development
Position Summary:
Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is seeking a senior director ofleadership development. This position plays a critical role in designing, implementing and overseeing strategies and programs aimed at cultivating and enhancingleadershipcapabilities within the organization. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience inleadership development, a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and a strategic mindset to drive initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a culture ofcontinuous learningand growth.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the programming and management of theleadership developmentteam.
Providestrategic leadershipandproject managementoversight for theleadership developmentteam efforts.
Work with team members to develop goals and objectives on an annual basis.
Evaluate performance of team members.
Serve as director for the AgriPOWER Institute program, with primary responsibilities to include:
Development of program objectives and goals.
Coordination and facilitation of institute program planning.
Budgeting and administration of the program expenses.
Solicitation of financial support and community sponsors.
Recruitment of program participants, engagement of past graduates into OFBF programming andleadership roles.
Develop and execute programming to developleadershiptraining for leaders, members and staff of the Ohio Farm Bureau.
Coordinate and develop high level training opportunities for futureleadership.
Coordinate and monitor additional training programs forleadership development.
Coordinate and implementprofessional developmenttraining for OFB staff.
Coordinate with Strategic Partnerships team to engage new strategic partners in the development of YAP, Youth Pathways, Ag Literacy,Leadership Developmentprogramming.
Oversee the Explore Ag program in coordination with Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation and Extension.
Oversee the planning and execution of the Ohio Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business,educationor related field.
Minimum Skill Qualifications:
Strong organization andcommunication skills.
Experience inproject managementand training.
Proven track recordof success inleadership developmentroles, with at least 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementingleadership developmentprograms in an organizational setting.
Strong understanding ofleadershiptheories, models and best practices, with the ability to translate theory into practical, actionable strategies.
Excellent coaching, facilitation andcommunication skills, with the ability to engage and influencediverseaudiences at all levels of the organization.
