Position: Â SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT – OU HEALTH
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President ofAdvancementfor OU Health, theSenior Director of Development – OU Healthdesigns and implements fundraising initiatives for OU Health. Working in partnership with the OU HealthAdvancementteam, this professional manages fundraising initiatives and projects through completion. The senior director manages an active portfolio of 125 prospects and works toward established metrics for performance each fiscal year.
Up to 30% travel required. Bachelor’s degree inCommunication, Marketing, Public Relations or closely related field, eight years of fundraising experience, including at least two years frontline fundraising in healthcare, and a demonstrated track record of significant personal achievement in fundraising showing the successful closing of six- and seven-figure philanthropic gifts required.

Job Description
The OU Foundation contracts with OU Health (OUH) to provideadvancementservices. To work in and access OUH facilities, OU FoundationAdvancementemployees must be hired as unpaid OU Health Contingent Workers and complete required immunizations, except where exemption is allowed, as well as drug testing.These requirements must be fulfilled before the start date.
As a federal funding recipient, OUH and its contractors are subject to the Drug-Free Workplace Act which can be more restrictive than state drug laws.
