Job Summary
The Senior Coordinator will contribute to this vision by providing support for, and participating in, key processes and programs that sustain an office-wide focus on collaboration, efficiencies, and metrics-based outcomes. Through administrative support, the Senior Coordinator will help create a campaign-ready, donor-centered, industry-leading program to support City of Hope’s mission. Key Responsibilities
Provide clerical support to the team, focusing on project-based work, including training other coordinators.
Support front-line fundraisers in maintaining an up-to-date prospect portfolio, including entering contact reports, updating metrics, and tracking progress.
Assist with department and donor-initiated cultivation and fundraising events, such as preparing invitation lists, tracking RSVPs, and monitoring income and expenses.
Maintain fundraiser calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with meeting preparations and follow-up.
Create pledge agreement drafts, process pledge payments, and send pledge reminders.
Participate in meetings, search committees, task forces, and other special projects as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional image when interacting with staff, donors, prospects, and colleagues.
Practice high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
At least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably with exposure to fundraising and non-profit systems. Experience in a complex medical or academic development environment is encouraged.
