We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of audit engagements while helping develop staff and strengthen client relationships.

Position Summary

The Senior Auditor will lead and perform audit and assurance procedures for a variety of clients across industries. This role is ideal for an experienced CPA or audit professional who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple engagements in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held and/or closely held businesses.

• Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related disclosures in accordance with applicable professional standards.

• Assess internal controls, identify risk areas, and develop practical recommendations for clients.

• Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and timely completion.

• Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior staff and associates.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement status, audit findings, and requested information.

• Research accounting and auditing issues and apply relevant guidance to client situations.

• Assist managers and partners with client relationship management and engagement administration.

• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the firm’s culture of quality and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• Active CPA license or progress toward CPA completion

• 3+ years of recent audit experience in public accounting.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodology.

• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and audit documentation.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

• Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and other standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA license strongly preferred.

• 5+ years of audit experience in public accounting.

• Experience leading engagements and supervising staff.

• Exposure to clients in multiple industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, nonprofit, real estate, or professional services.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and evolving audit technologies.

• Experience working directly with managers, partners, and client leadership teams.
