The Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) is expanding! We’re seeking a Senior Accounting & Finance Manager to join our dynamic, mission-driven team focused on making clean energy accessible to all Nevadans.
In this role, you’ll work closely with NCEF’s Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer (COO/CFO) to lead accounting operations, drive budgeting processes, and oversee financial reporting. You will supervise the Accounting & Finance Manager, collaborate across teams, and ensure compliance with internal controls, grant requirements, and investment portfolio management. What You’ll Do:
Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including payroll, A/P, A/R, and grants accounting.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Forecasts).
Lead the annual budgeting process and financial reporting to leadership and funders.
Manage audits, including federal Single Audit compliance.
Support loan portfolio administration and cash management.
Supervise and mentor finance staff members.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
8+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or operations, or 5+ years with an advanced degree or CPA
High attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with nonprofits, federal funding, and/or investment programs is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $90,000–$105,000 (commensurate with experience).

Remote/ Hybrid work environment based in Nevada with regular in-person collaboration days.
