Description
St. Theresa Parish in Dixon, Missouri is seeking a part-time Secretary-Bookkeeper. This position has flexible hours but ideally we are needing someone to work approximately 10 hours a week.
General
Duties Include:
Greets visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner
Responds to mail, emails, voicemails and telephone calls
Maintains accurate records and takes minutes of meetings as directed by pastor
Serves as secretary to the pastor
Attends parish meetings as required and takes minutes
Keeps vital statistics for the parish
Keeps pastor informed of vital concerns within the parish
Creates a weekly bulletin
Schedules Eucharistic ministers
Clips and files all newspaper ads and articles concerning the parish
Maintains positive relationship with parish council members and other volunteers
Maintains a reasonable inventory of church supplies
Prepares bank deposits and records receipts
Prepares financial statements as requested
