Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) is a national, faith-based nonprofit legal defense organization dedicated to protecting religious freedom, parental rights, and civil liberties—at no cost to clients. With 36 offices across the country and a growing base of supporters, we are entering a season of unprecedented opportunity and expansion. We are currently seeking a Mission Relations – Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at our Garden Grove office.

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Director of Mission Relations and plays a critical role in expanding PJI’s reach and mission through strategic outreach, scheduling, and donor engagement. You’ll be on the front lines of connecting PJI’s attorneys with churches, media outlets, and donor communities across the country—helping to grow visibility, deepen relationships, and drive impact.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with PJI’s 36 legal offices nationwide to increase visibility through attorney speaking opportunities and events.

Coordinate and manage attorney speaking engagements, interviews, and public appearances across the country.

Organize donor appreciation dinners in key regions—scouting venues, coordinating invites, meals, and presentations.

Maintain and update PJI’s events and attorney engagement calendar.

Research and develop a database of influential churches, groups, and media contacts (traditional and social media).

Collaborate with the Marketing Team to align messaging around regional events and national campaigns.

Support attorney outreach with tailored email and phone campaigns that build local engagement.

Build and track outreach metrics to guide strategy and improve results.

Assist in developing presentations and materials focused on religious liberty, life, and parental rights.

Strengthen donor retention through strategic follow-ups and personalized communication.

Represent PJI at occasional conferences and ministry events.

Contribute to team brainstorming, campaign strategy, and long-term donor engagement planning.

Qualifications

2+ years in administrative coordination, event planning, or scheduling roles

Strong project management and organizational skills

Experience with CRM systems is a plus

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
