POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Salesforce Database Administrator, this position will serve as the database assistant for the donor database system. The Database Assistant is responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the efficient operation of Salesforce and other databases.

This role is primarily data entry focused with updating of donor records, and related information, generating, formatting, printing, and mailing donor acknowledgement letters, providing data in report form to staff. Along with supporting special events, communications, andcommunity engagement.

This is a part-time, 60% (24 hours per week), hybrid, hourly, benefitted, non-exempt position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum High School Diploma

1-4 years of relevant work experience.

Experience with data processing in a non-profit setting.

Experience maintaining CRM data including experience in report writing and analyzing data.

Experience with Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) preferred.

Experience with Donation platforms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with database development and management software.

Ability to operate a computer with Salesforce software and Microsoft Windows Office Suite software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Applicants must be able to pay careful attention to details and record data accurately.

Analytical andproblem-solving skills.

Skills required include managing multiple, competing, and varied tasks, time management, listening skills,problem solving, decision making, and successfully managing workflow.

Applicant must be highly proficient in spoken and written English.

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding company financials and other information.

This position requires conduct of the highest professional and ethical standards with patients, families, staff, volunteers, and donors.

Interest in and ability to perform tasks in a culturally sensitive manner without regard to age, ethnicity, religion, national origin, or socioeconomic status.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to work comfortably in an alternative healthcare setting serving families and children who are seriously ill or dying.

Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively to GMCH children-patients, families, caregivers, staff, volunteers, and donors using both written and verbal skills.
