Summary
As a School Safety Educator at the Danielle Dawn Smalley Foundation, you will play a vital role in educating school officials about the pipeline located on or near their campus. These schools that are located in close proximity to a pipeline are considered high-consequence areas by federal and state pipeline safety regulations. Some schools are in Texas, and some are out of state, requiring air-travel.
Responsibilities
Data analysis, data entry, mapping, and travel logistics
Scheduling/Coordination of safety meetings with schools and industry partners
Facilitation of brief school pipeline safety meetings (with school officials for emergency planning)
Documentation and follow up
Collaboration and engagement with other team members
Requirements
Degree in education, training, emergency management, or a related field preferred.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Presentation skills to effectively facilitate safety meetings (one-on-one and small group).
Experience in educational program development is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
