Job Overview:

The Sales Recovery Representative specializes in revitalizing relationships with nonprofit organizations that have previously used our software or have gone through the sales process and are now in need of reigniting interest in the DonorSearch Platform. This role involves identifying customer needs that were not met during the initial presentations or customer experience, presenting multiple tailored solutions, and re-guiding clients through the sales process so they can implement or re-implement DonorSearch’s platforms to achieve their fundraising and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct targeted outreach to deficient and lapsed clients or lapsed prospective nonprofit clients, re-establishing relationships and understanding their current challenges and requirements

Through active listening and consultative selling, identify pain points and areas of opportunity where our SaaS solutions can add value and support the organization’s mission

Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the benefits and ROI of our software, specifically addressing the client’s unique needs

Skillfully negotiate contracts and pricing structures, ensuring alignment with client budgets and organizational goals, and ultimately closing deals to recover and reactivate accounts

Identify opportunities to streamline the sales process for deficient and lapsed accounts and contribute to the development of best practices for recovery sales

Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics, providing insights to management and contributing to data-driven decision-making

Key Qualifications:

Knowledge of the nonprofit landscape, including fundraising challenges, operational needs, and technology adoption trends

Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas, with experience in SaaS or technology sales preferred. ( Preferred sales experience in the nonprofit sector)

Ability to build relationships, actively listen to client needs, and tailor solutions to address specific challenges

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and build rapport with diverse stakeholders

Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions that meet client needs

Proficiency with Salesforce is preferred

Experience in customer service or account management within the nonprofit sector is a plus

Familiarity with donor management, fundraising software, or nonprofit CRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge) is beneficial

Understanding of data analysis and reporting for nonprofit organizations is valuable

Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences and presentations, and on-site staff retreats as needed

Salary: $55,000/year
