Job Summary
The Youth Development Professional will plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate a broad range of activities within the three priority outcomes of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Character & Citizenship.

Prepare Youth for Success
1. Create, plan, and oversee the implementation of Targeted Programs and High Yield Learning Activities that support the Optimal Club Experience
~Create a safe, positive environment for youth through positive interactions and a safe, clean facility
~Establish and maintain goals and settings that ensure the health and safety of members
~Supervise members
~Act as a positive role model by guiding, mentoring, and recognizing members
~Provide opportunities for youth to learn, grow, and explore through programs, recognition, high expectations, and outreach activities
2. Monitor, evaluate, and improve programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of members, quality of programs, and development of the organization
~Lead specialized programming
~Track and report data as requested
~Implement a continuous improvement process in Club program implementation
3. Participate in professional development and training to deepen knowledge of effective youth strategies
4. Apply behavior management strategies to support members social and emotional well-being
5. Participate in planning and implementing Club summer fieldtrips and summer actives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
