We are looking for someone with first-rate organisational skills to volunteer alongside the warehouse team by helping to prepare and send out orders to our shops, colleagues across the organisation, and our online customers.
We believe everyone has the right to live life to the full following the diagnosis of a chest or heart condition, stroke, or Long Covid. Our shops are vital in helping us raise the funds needed to provide services such as community support services, specialist nurses, advice and information,education, and peer support.
Join our fabulous team of Retail volunteers and learn new skills, make great friends, and make a real difference to people in Scotland who are isolated, scared, or anxious about their condition.
Experience Required
This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role. The role includes helping to make up greeting cards and gift orders for our online customers and assisting with preparing packages for distribution to our shops. Skills required are being comfortable and confident to engage with fellow team members, being confident to pick stock and make up orders, and basic ICT skills.

Travel Expenses
Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. These should be discussed with your Line Manager prior to outlay and must be submitted within the prescribed guidelines as detailed in the CHSS Volunteer Expenses Policy.

Frequency & Commitment
Preferred commitment is one four-hour shift per week, 10am-4pm.
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
