Position: Resource Case Manager (Lydia House)
Every day of the year, Open Door Mission provides safe shelter, meals, clothing, recovery, and life-changing programs and services to hungry and homeless in Omaha and Southwest Iowa. ABOUT THIS POSITION
This position manages a caseload of emergency services guests. They work to make sure each guest can meet their basic needs such as housing, identification, and childcare, connecting guests to community organizations and partners as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide case management services to Lydia House emergency services guests.
Develop and enhance job-related relationships with individuals and agencies.
Connect guests to applicable agencies and programs according to their specific circumstances and needs.
Set goals with guests and hold them accountable to working toward them.
Provide emergency crisis counseling, problem solving, and de-escalation when necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Relevant education in the human services or related field.
Must be a team player and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Google G-suite and general computer operations.
Ability to share the gospel and make disciples.
You have a visible relationship with Christ.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE…
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
At least two years of case management experience
Experience case managing in a social service organization.

Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Sunday 1:00pm-9:30pm and Monday-Thursday 11:00am-7:30pm
