Role Description
Bridgemark is seeking a mission-driven and experienced Residential Program Manager to lead operations at our 35-bed men’s residential substance use treatment facility in Warwick, RI. This full-time, on-site leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, managing staff, and providing structured support to residents. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Program Manager plays a critical role in creating a respectful, recovery-focused environment while developing and implementing program policies, managing administrative functions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Manage residential operations and supervise Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), counselors, and support staff
Collaborate closely with the Clinical Supervisor to align clinical and operational priorities
Ensure 24/7 staffing coverage, monitor census and reimbursement trends
Uphold licensing, accreditation, and internal policy standards
Support admissions and discharges, lead team meetings and staff trainings
Foster a professional workplace culture grounded in accountability, inclusivity, and mutual respect
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, or related field preferred
Bachelor’s degree with significant supervisory experience in behavioral health will be considered
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role in substance use or behavioral health settings
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and regulatory compliance
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and take direction from executive leadership
Professionalism, maturity, and the ability to manage conflict constructively
Preferred Licensure (not required):
LCDP, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or other behavioral health license
