Job Title: Residential Manager
Salary: $19.00 per hour
Location: PROVO, UT, 84606
Description: One Full Time position available;
Shift coverage is Monday – Friday 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM. Some holiday coverage is required, this is shared among the residential team. Holiday pay (time and a half is provided for holiday coverage).
The Food and Care Coalition is a non-profit organization that offers services to individuals that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. One of our programs is the transitional housing program.
Residential Managers are responsible for the admission process of our transitional program, which includes: meeting with clients individually to fill out an application, entering information into HMIS database, maintaining records, and making sure all residents follow program rules, policies and procedures. They also manage the physical care and needs of the rooms and building by doing room checks, monitoring of chores, and cleaning and turning over rooms.
Additionally, Residential Managers assist clients with getting connected to various resources and vouchers to address their barriers.
Residential Managers are required to attend two weekly meetings (case manager meeting and admissions committee meeting) every Monday at 12:00 pm and every Thursday at 12:00 pm. Administrators will communicate with residential managers about any other required staff meetings or training.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in social work or similar field preferred; at least 1-2 years relevant experience in mental health care, social work, counseling, sociology/psychology. Background check is required.
