Founded in 1989 by concerned parents, Beacon College offers education support services including a Writing Center and Math lab equipped with assistive technology, learning specialists, life coaches, counselors, peer mentors, and occupational therapists.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Resident Director located in Leesburg, FL. The Resident Director will be responsible for overseeing residential life programs, managing student housing, providing support for students with learning differences, and fostering a supportive community environment.
Qualifications
Experience in residential life programs and managing student housing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to provide support for students with learning differences
Knowledge of assistive technology and resources for students with learning disabilities
Experience in a higher education setting is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
