Legal Rights: self advocacy, special education, current events, etc.
Technology: accessible information regarding assistive technology, accessibility, AI/machine learning to research IDD, etc.
Research Intern Description:
This is a remote and unpaid/volunteer internship. The following points are what is to be expected of you in this position:
Research various academic journals, organizational work/research, and other sources to find trending research and work within 3DA’s priorities.
Writing on the research that you find when necessary.
Interns’ work will be to help contribute to our annual review journal and to expand upon our first review journal we did last year, and given credit for contributions: https://www.3da.org/copy-of-policy-agenda
Overview:
Timeline: May 19-August 10
Hours: 10 hours per week
We will also be offering optional workshops in which various topics within nonprofits will be discussed for interns.
Qualifications:
Applicable academic research experience
