Scion Technology has been engaged to lead the search for a RemoteQA Tester Database Migration on behalf of our client,a mission-driven, nonprofit organization that provides professional credentialing services for behavior analysis practitioners.
This is a contract-based opportunity with a highly respected organization that is committed to high-quality systems and public service. Youll be joining a close-knit team during a critical time as they ensure data accuracy and system performance following a major database migration.
Compensation & Benefits:
$45 – $50hr DOE
2 month contract position

What You Will Do:
Test system functionality and user workflows following a recent database migration
Validate data accuracy and consistency using SQL queries and compare results to pre-migration datasets
Document and report bugs or discrepancies using standard QA tools (e.g., Jira)
Collaborate closely with developers, database engineers, and analysts to resolve issues
Conduct regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet business requirements
Confirm post-migration system performance and stability
Maintain detailed and organized test plans and documentation
What You Will Bring:
2+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or a related technical role
Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation
Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to testing and troubleshooting
Experience documenting test cases and using QA bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
A proactive and collaborative attitudeyou love solving problems as a team!
Bonus: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, automation tools, or experience in post-migration QA is a plus
