Emergency Assistance Foundation – a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, public, non-profit organization – is the oldest and largest standalone charity designed solely to administer global disaster and hardship relief funds, thereby providing grants to individuals in need around the world.

The Relief Fund Senior Advisor serves as a trusted expert, guiding organizations that partner with EAF as a third-party administrator to manage employer-sponsored relief funds. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who excels at relationship management and ensuring relief fund programs operate smoothly and effectively. In this role, you would manage relationships with approximately 50-60 relief fund contacts. Your day to day would include responding to partner inquiries via email, phone, and on camera zoom meetings, reviewing fund performance and addressing any challenges related to grant applications and donation structures. You would also collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, optimize engagement, and ensure the overall success and sustainability of the funds.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as a primary point of contact, providing strategic guidance on best practices for administering relief programs.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by offering proactive recommendations and timely support.

·. Analyze program activity and trends to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

·. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operations.

·. Stay informed about industry trends, compliance considerations, and innovative approaches to employee relief efforts.

·. Collate and communicate complex information clearly and professionally through reports, presentations, and direct interactions.

·. Adapt to new technologies and evolving systems to support organizations effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

·. Fluency in English (spoken and written) required.

·. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Social Responsibility, or a related field preferred.

·. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client- or stakeholder-facing role (e.g., donor relations, customer service, grantmaking, nonprofit management).

· Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote work environment across multiple time zones.

·. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required and demonstrates a strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems.

·. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

·. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Compensation & Work Environment:

·. Hourly Position: This role is paid on an hourly basis at a competitive rate.

·. Earning Potential: Based on a full-time schedule (40 hours per week), annual earnings would be in the range of $63,000 – $68,000.

·. Schedule: Commitment to Eastern Time (ET) business hours is required, though there is some flexibility in how work is structured within those hours.

·. Remote Work: This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must provide their own computer and a reliable internet connection.

·. Retirement Savings: Eligible for 401(k) participation after 3 months.

·. Travel: Required 1-2 times a year.
