Registered Nurses – Summer Day Camp (Seasonal) Jobs in Baltimore, MD at Horizon Day Camp
Horizon Day Camp, a free, full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, located at St. Timothy’s School, Greenspring Avenue in Baltimore County, is hiring Nurses for the Summer 2025 camp season. As a proud member of the Sunrise Association, a non-profit agency, our mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings.
We are overseen by a medical director and have on-site registered nurses and a fully equipped Wellness Center. Entering our tenth camp season, we provide memorable experiences for kids who otherwise may never get to attend camp. Every day counts for these children and our goal is to create a fun, interactive, and engaged camp setting, all amid a safe, inclusive environment. Daily activities include music, arts and crafts, sports, swimming, nature activities and more.
Camp dates are 06/18-08/06. Flexible schedule. Full time or part time. We offer three 8 hour shifts per camp day.
Nurse- Nurses are responsible for the care and medical supervision of Horizon campers.

RN license (MD state license)

Criminal background check, physical and current immunizations required.
All CDC Covid-19 protocols will be followed along with protocols established by a Medical Task Force. Staff are required to be vaccinated.
Pediatric Oncology nurses preferred but not required. Good opportunity for school nurses.
