Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. This role will involve working in a dynamic environment, including a teaching hospital, where you will provide high-quality care to patients across different settings, including senior care and clinics. Your expertise in medical documentation and case management will be essential in ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with established standards and regulations.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Operate neonatal ventilators and other medical equipment as required for patient care.
Conduct mammography procedures when necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Participate in case management activities to coordinate patient care effectively across various departments.
Skills
Strong clinical skills with experience in ventilating patients and operating neonatal ventilators.
Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate patient records.
Knowledge of standards of care within both senior care settings and clinics.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to educate patients on health-related topics clearly and compassionately.
Experience working within a teaching hospital environment is preferred but not mandatory.
