In this full-time, temporary position until November 30, 2027, you will assess community recreation needs and develop innovative programs tailored to interests. Supervise a capable team, evaluate their performance, and foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of all offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess community recreation interests and needs
• Coordinate and develop diverse recreational programs
• Plan and supervise program staff activities
• Build partnerships with community agencies and groups
• Promote programs through media and community events
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year Recreation program or similar
• Relevant supervisory experience or equivalent background
• Valid Driver’s License for British Columbia
• Capable of fostering community engagement
• Police Information Check necessary
