WE ARE HIRING A READERS SERVICES ASSOCIATE

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, and personable Readers Services Associate to help enrich the library experience for both adult and teen patrons. In this role, you’ll guide readers to their next great book, collaborate on creative programming, and bring positive energy to everything you do—from assisting at the desk to representing the library at community events.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Share your enthusiasm for library services, materials, and programs at the Readers Desk by connecting readers with books they’ll love and helpful resources.
Represent RML at local events and community outreach opportunities.
Collaborate on innovative displays, programs, and reader engagement initiatives.
Create a welcoming and inclusive space for teens and adults alike.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Location Hours
PART TIME: AVERAGE 14 HOURS PER WEEK
Monday & Tuesday 4-9 pm
Every other Saturday 9-5 pm
1 Sunday per month 11:45-5 pm (Sunday hours paid at time and a half)
Part-time benefits include paid time off.
