Position: HELP OUT: Rancho Peñasquitos Farmers Market
Devoted to Youth hosts the Rancho Peñasquitos Farmers Market every Thursday. The proceeds of the market go toward charities that support families and children, as well as food/donation drives. Devoted to Youth needs volunteers to run the market smoothly so that their small staff team can focus on expanding the market.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed to help with setting up, breaking down, and running the event.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Comfortable clothing and a jacket, as it can get chilly. The event takes place outdoors with plenty of shade.
Bring: Water. Devoted to Youth will provide food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 40 lbs. Accommodations can be made for individuals with physical limitations. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Waiver: Minors must complete the Devoted to Youth waiver.
Weather: The market operates rain or shine, but may close in severe weather conditions.
Note: Volunteers must download the Hands On Connect app to sign the waiver electronically and check in. The app is available on the Apple Store and Google Play. Volunteers who do not sign in will be marked as not attending at midnight on the day of their shift.

The mission of Devoted to Youth Foundation is to help underprivileged youth and families in need. They listen to each individual and aim to provide opportunities, hope, and tools for a better life.
