Role Description The Quality Management Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives across programs, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing program and performance data, preparing reports and dashboards, and identifying trends and areas for improvement. The analyst collaborates with program staff and leadership to develop corrective action plans, support compliance reviews, and participate in audits and internal quality assessments. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with policy and procedure development, maintaining documentation, and contributing to training efforts related to quality and compliance.
Qualifications
- Ability to collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data; proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Strong skills in quality assurance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement methodologies within human services or healthcare settings.
- Experience supporting compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards; attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, summaries, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative working style and ability to build positive relationships with program teams, supervisors, and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, public health, data analytics, psychology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in social services, child welfare, education, behavioral health, or related nonprofit environments is highly beneficial.
- Comfort using electronic health records or case management systems and learning new technology tools as needed.
