Job Summary: Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator assists with the development, maintenance, and communication of FACT’s quality policies and systems to ensure FACT’s programs and services are implemented. The Quality Coordinator investigates incident reports, complaints, and other issues to continually identify and recommend process improvement initiatives. This position contributes to moderately complex aspects of projects, as appropriate. Together with all other FACT colleagues, the Quality Coordinator is expected to respect and strive to uphold the Team’s Chosen Core Values. This is a remote position, with the option to work in the FACT Omaha Headquarters office on a hybrid or on-site basis.
Key Accountabilities and Associated Duties:
Support of FACT’s Quality Systems
Collaborates with HQ Team members to guide controlled documents through FACT’s document control system, ‘PolicyTech.’
Performs quality reviews of documents as part of the document control process, within ‘PolicyTech.’
Analyzes accreditation facility and inspector evaluation data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develops, implements, and evaluates corrective actions in collaboration with internal key stakeholders.
Coordinates the evaluation of identified ‘commendable practices’ related to FACT accreditation.
Coordination of Training
Develops and administers quality training for the HQ Team.
Compliance
Assists with distribution, tracking, and follow-up of FACT’s Conflict of Interest & Acknowledgements requirements.
Event Participation / Support
Provides as-needed support and quality management guidance at educational events and conference exhibits; travel as required.

Education and Experience for Success (*required):
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or biological sciences field.*
Quality certification is preferred, e.g., Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB).
Three years professional work experience in quality management or assurance.*
A background in medical and/or technical aspects of cellular therapy is preferred.
