Role Description This full-time, on-site Coordinator of Volunteers role is based in the Córdoba, Argentina Metropolitan Area. The Coordinator of Volunteers oversees the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and support of volunteers to ensure programs and services are delivered effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing volunteer activities, maintaining accurate volunteer records, coordinating with staff to identify volunteer needs, and providing ongoing guidance and feedback to volunteers. This role also involves developing and delivering training sessions, promoting volunteer opportunities through community outreach, and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. The coordinator collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, prepares basic reports on volunteer engagement, and helps improve processes to strengthen the volunteer program.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in volunteer training and development, including designing and delivering orientation and skill-building sessions.
- Strong volunteer management skills, including recruitment, scheduling, supervision, and retention of diverse volunteer teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and community partners.
- Experience with community outreach and engagement, including building relationships with local organizations and promoting volunteer opportunities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple activities, events, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic office software and data entry; experience with volunteer management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Córdoba, Argentina Metropolitan Area and collaborate across different program areas.
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, community services, or nonprofit environments is preferred.
- Relevant education in social sciences, nonprofit management, human resources, or a related field is beneficial.
