AGPAL Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer – Strategic Growth. AGPAL and QIP are leading not-for-profit accreditation providers, specialising in the delivery of services to a diverse range of health, community and human service organisations across Australia. We are dedicated to supporting these organisations to achieve accreditation and are passionate about improving the quality and safety of the services they offer, to ensure Australia’s health system remains one of the best in the world.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Group CEO to achieve organisational objectives by managing projects, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting business growth.

Key deliverables of the role:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring timely execution and monitoring of key milestones.

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities for the company and represent the AGPAL Group at conferences and events.

Proactively pursue strategic growth opportunities by preparing and submitting tenders aligned with the organisation’s long-term objectives.

Engage and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organisational goals through regular updates and tailored engagement strategies.

Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic initiatives, develop business cases, and track KPIs to assess progress on key projects.

Identify growth opportunities and lead the development of business cases for new initiatives, including the preparation and submission of relevant funding applications.

Knowledge and skills required:

Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Skilled at analysing complex situations, identifying challenges, and providing innovative solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Project Management Expertise: Strong organisational skills to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively, ensuring delivery within scope and timelines.

Exceptional Communication: Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, persuasion, and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

Technological and Data analysis Proficiency: Familiarity with tools and platforms for project management, data analysis, and communication to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Education & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in health, management, leadership, or a related discipline.

Proven experience leading projects within a medium-sized nonprofit or business organisation, including strategy development and operationalisation.

Strong background in research, strategy, governance, change management, continuous quality improvement, and business development.

Demonstrated ability to engage with peak bodies, government agencies, and key stakeholders effectively.
