Are you ready to create a brighter energy future as part of a passionate andpurpose-drivenorganization? The Energy Coalition (TEC) seeks a Project Manager to join our Marketing,Education& Outreach (ME&O) team with a specific focus onCommunity Engagement& Outreach.
Your placement would be in TEC’s San Diego office and you are welcome to work remotely as needed. The position will contribute to ourcommunity engagementand outreach activities, with an immediate and specific focus on managing partner engagement for the California Energy Commission Equitable Building Decarbonization (EBD) Direct Install (DI) Program in the Southern Region. In this role, you will act as an Area Coordinator for the San Diego region and be the primary liaison between the Implementation Team and the Community Partners who perform direct Marketing,Education, and Outreach (ME&O).
Community Partners refers to the collective set of Community-Based Organizations, Community Choice Aggregators, Local Governments, and Regional Energy Networks who will perform direct ME&O to promote the EBD program. The EBD Area Coordinator role is crucial in ensuring the success of our program and making apositive impactin the communities we serve.
The EBD Area Coordinator will be responsible for ensuringeffective communicationand coordination with Community Partners, facilitating smooth interactions andcollaboration. You will be organizing and leading meetings to keep Community Partners informed about ongoing developments. Additionally, you’ll collect outreach logs and event summaries from the partners to track progress and impact. A key part of your role will be providing support to Community Partners as they address local challenges, offering guidance and resources as needed.
You’ll also assist them in accessing program-developed outreach materials, ensuring they have the tools they need for success. Finally, you’ll work closely with Community Partners to ensure that their ME&O efforts are culturally appropriate and aligned with the program’s overarching goals. This position will ensure Community Partners are moving participants through the program lifecycle, reviewing project documentation, updatingcustomer relationshipmanagement databases, and providing support for all project features including outreach, communications, and reporting.
This position will also support other TEC ME&O projects on theCommunity Engagementand Outreach team, with a specific focus oncommunity engagementand outreach in rural, hard-to-reach, and disadvantaged communities.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensureeffective communicationand coordination with EBD Community Partners to facilitate smooth interactions andcollaboration.
