Position: Programs Specialist for CIBC Run
Drive meaningful fundraising initiatives with the Canadian Cancer Society as a Signature Programs Specialist in Calgary. This hybrid role focuses on managing the iconic Run for the Cure events.
As the main point of contact for 4-5 events in Alberta, you will lead volunteer efforts and ensure events are safe, engaging, and impactful. Your experience in fundraising and event management will be essential as you facilitate training and recruitment while collaborating with corporate teams to secure sponsor ships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead 4-5 signature events in Alberta
• Guide volunteer committees and Run Directors
• Meet regularly to ensure event success
• Create and deliver comprehensive training materials
• Manage relationships in Salesforce CRM
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of fundraising or event management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft tools
• Ability to travel as needed
