Role Description
Maristan is hiring a part-time Programs Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This hybrid position allows for remote work with occasional in-person meetings or events. The Programs Manager will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of Maristan’s psycho educational and outreach programming. Responsibilities include managing teams, building partnerships, supporting contracts, and contributing to Maristan’s strategic growth.
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based setting
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with organizational goals
• Strong project management, team leadership, and communication skills
• Skilled in budgeting, contracts, and supervising staff or volunteers
• Deep understanding of Islam and Muslim communities; open to or trained in Islamic Psychology
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
