Programs Director
Legal Services of North Florida, a non-profit law firm with 130+ employees across eight offices in North Florida, is seeking a Programs Director. The organization provides civil legal justice for low-income and vulnerable populations in a sixteen-county area, covering legal issues such as family law, disaster recovery, benefit protection, home preservation, domestic violence, and victims’ rights.
The Programs Director will work independently and collaboratively to expand services within these communities, develop programs, and draft grant proposals focused on client needs and community engagement. The position can be based in Tallahassee, Panama City, or Quincy.
The role involves developing new programs through grants, building relationships with community partners, grant writing, and overseeing program implementation. The Director will supervise staff including grant managers, a data analyst, and a technology staff member, working closely with the Executive Director, CAO, and Managing Attorneys.
Applicants should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, project management, and excellent communication skills. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, business administration, project management, grant/technical writing, or related fields. Equivalent professional experience may substitute for education. A minimum of ten years of experience, with at least three in supervision, is preferred. Non-profit, community engagement, volunteerism, or legal experience is a plus.
Salary is negotiable based on experience, with those having ten or more years of experience earning approximately $90,000 or more.
