Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Program/Project Coordinator at Redwood Resources Consultancy. The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating program/project activities, assisting with outreach and engagement programs, maintaining project documentation, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. This position is based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area with a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office during the week.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management and operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep projects on track — building spreadsheets, organizing information, managing timelines, and creating reports and dashboards as well as scheduling and admin and coordinating support needs for the CEO. You will wear many hats; you will learn a lot and you will help make significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and dashboards to monitor project progress, budgets, and key milestones
Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation
Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and taking meeting notes
Coordinate communication and information flow between team members, partners, and clients
Maintain up-to-date project files, folders, and status documents
Provide administrative support to project and program managers as needed.
Scheduling for the CEO and coordination and admin support for the CEO.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other data tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana, or similar platforms)
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable working in a support role without direct leadership responsibilities
Project Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Experience with outreach and community engagement initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting teams in consulting, public sector, or nonprofit work
Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, or grants administration a plus
Comfortable working remotely or in hybrid teams
