- The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $95,000(dependent upon experience and qualifications)

Oakland Goes Outdoor (OGO) is a mission-driven program embedded within and working in partnership with Oakland Unified School District (OUSD), dedicated to creating equitable, curriculum-aligned outdoor learning experiences for students during the school day and beyond. Since launching in 2018, OGO has made it possible for thousands of students, many for the first time, to explore nearby parks, forests, and shorelines as spaces for learning, connection, and growth. These immersive nature-based experiences foster social-emotional development, promote physical and mental well-being, deepen community and belonging, and build environmental literacy and stewardship. ABOUT THE POSITION:
This role will serve as the organizer behind trip transportation, outdoor partner coordination, and vendor relations, ensuring seamless, safe, and memorable experiences. Managing core financial workflows including Accounts Payable, stipends, budget tracking, and rigorous grant administration. This role will act as an organizer of efficiency by modernizing standard operating procedures, simplifying complex processes, and managing operational risk to keep the entire organization running at its best.

- Accounts Payable: Reimbursements, POs & HRAs, Stipends

- Ownership of operational systems

IDEAL PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

- Proficient with Google Suite/Microsoft Office Programs.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three plus years of relevant work experience
- Comfort working with Google suite, spreadsheets, shared drives, and project management tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team
- Interest in education, nonprofits, or outdoor learning/access a plus
- Ability to perform the essential functions
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Achievement on performance-based assessments (if applicable)
