Job Summary:
As a Program Manager, you will support the CF Industries Foundation grantmaking strategy. Launched in 2022, the CF Industries Foundation’s goal is to build a thriving and more sustainable world starting with the communities where we live and work. This is why we are committed to partnering with non-profit organizations to advanceSTEM education, protect and care for natural resources, improve healthy food access and improve thequality of lifefor our neighbors.
The Program Manager will work with CF’s VP, Global Benefits & CF Industries Foundation to develop, implement and maintain approaches that support and lead to strategic grantmaking strategies and partnerships in communities where CF Industries employees work and live. The Program Manager will also own the Foundation’s grantmaking process and activities and associated compliance requirements.
Job Description:
Strategy andLeadership:Guide the strategic direction and expansion of the Foundation, ensuring alignment with its goals and commitment to its four philanthropic pillars.
Grantmaking Oversight:Manage the entire grantmaking process, ensuringimpactfuland equitable distribution of funds to eligible organizations along with legal andregulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement:Foster relationships with key internal and external partners, grantees, and stakeholders to enhance the foundation’s reach and impact.
Program Evaluation:Incollaborationwith the Foundation staff, develop and implement a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of funded programs.
Employee Engagement:Champion the involvement of employees at CF Industries to become engaged with grantees in the local communities through volunteering.
Communication:Participate in various forms of public outreach, including virtual or in-person engagement and social media content creation as needed.
Role Expectations:
Demonstrate confident intermediate-level proficiency with relevant skills supporting the implementation and management of grant programs, regularly training and supporting other team members.
