We’re seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dynamic Program Manager to lead our team in supporting individuals with mental health challenges in a Group Home setting in Portland. If you are passionate about program development and making a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
As Program Manager, you will shape and oversee the daily operations of our mental health and housing programs. You will work with a dedicated team to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients can thrive. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an organization making a real difference.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and Inspire: Oversee daily program operations, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
Empower Your Team: Support staff through recruitment, training, and professional development.
Collaborate for Success: Work with community partners and stakeholders to expand access to services.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, implementing improvements as needed.
Financial Stewardship: Manage program budgets responsibly, ensuring effective use of resources.
Represent Our Mission: Advocate for Shalom House at meetings, conferences, and public events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience and 2 years in an adult mental health setting.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities.
Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to inclusivity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation.
