Position Summary
The Program Director will be an expert in business consulting, training, and counseling for women entrepreneurs to help them overcome challenges in starting, growing, and sustaining their businesses, including the operations, compliance, and the execution of the program for the NEW-WBC. As an ambassador for the organization, this person is also responsible for actively supporting the overall mission and vision of NEW.
Duties
and Responsibilities
Maintain responsibility for the agency achieving goals and milestones of each program and/or project undertaken.
Provide oversight services through the respective personnel.
Provide consulting and training services to existing and start-up businesses, on an as-needed basis.
Maintain responsibility for all program and/or project budgets, including the execution of a minimum of 100 webinars per month, counseling sessions for over 100 per month, and 14 events during the year.
Provide training sessions for staff on technical assistance topics.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the program.
Participate in planning and strategy programs and sessions.
Make recommendations to the Director of Entrepreneurship Hub on organizational policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit required reporting for governmental agencies, grants, and other institutions based on program criteria.
Attend WBC Board of Directors meetings, providing quarterly and as needed reporting.
Attendsenior managementmeetings as required.
Conduct budget analysis, evaluation, and reporting for the organization and for the grants.
Provideleadershipto staff, encouraging a commitment toteamworkin the accomplishment of agency goals and objectives.
Work with regional economic development organizations to develop programs and initiatives designed to maximize business growth.
Maintain responsibility for partnerships, strategic alliances, and othercollaborativeefforts undertaken by the organization.
