Description
Job Summary: Responsible for managing Burlington county-based Community Service Programs and food pantry, overseeing Parish Services, and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with standards and expectations under the supervision of the Community Services Service Area Director.
Essential Functions
Manage Burlington-based Community Service Programs and Parish Services, ensuring standards and expectations are met.
Oversee program performance to meet contractual and budget goals.
Collaborate on annual budgets with supervisors.
Establish and monitor program outcomes and standards.
Implement quality improvement initiatives and participate in agency activities.
Supervise staff and volunteers, fostering professional development.
Maintain staffing levels within budget to achieve goals.
Identify opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
Represent programs at community and agency committees.
Develop relationships with stakeholders and develop outreach programs.
Research funding opportunities and prepare grant applications.
Prepare and submit grant reports and participate in strategic planning.
Manage partnerships with parish and community organizations.
Oversee volunteer programs and facility management.
Obtain necessary certifications within probationary periods.
Other Duties: As assigned by supervisor.
Supervisory Requirements: Provide trauma-informed supervision, staff training, HR tasks, and performance reviews.
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with 2 years of social services experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, including supervisory experience. Experience in housing, community development, or government contracts preferred. Flexibility for schedule, excellent writing and computer skills required.
Licenses/Certifications Needed: Safe Food Handling, NJHMIS Awards System, Oasis Management System, others as assigned.
Mandated Program Requirements: Ability to pass background check, valid driver’s license, Spanish bilingual preferred.
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
Weekly Hours: 35
Salary: $65,000 annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
