Enhance community living by becoming a Program Coordinator for YW Housing from September to December 2026. Support individuals and families in finding their housing stability and well-being. This temporary full‑time role focuses on developing and implementing programming for YW Housing tenants at the Lincoln Road location.
You will create activities that boost early childhood development and community connection while assessing the unique needs of residents. The position requires effective communication and relationship‑building skills to foster partnerships and evaluate program efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop activities and workshops for a sense of community
- Foster relationships with community partners for program sustainability
- Assist families in settling into housing and temporary accommodations
- Evaluate programming efforts for ongoing improvement
- Maintain thorough records of service contracts and client documentation
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Social Work or equivalent education
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- High‑level communication and human relations skills
- Harm Reduction and De‑escalation training
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check documentation
