Sounds of Sarah is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to prevention, education, and public services focused on the dangers of illicit fentanyl, counterfeit drugs, addiction, and drug poisoning. Through community outreach, naloxone distribution, and youth-focused programming, Sounds of Sarah works to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and provide life-saving resources.
Seeking a Program Coordinator to support our youth education initiatives and community events. This role will be responsible for coordinating prevention programs in schools and community settings, managing partnerships with service providers, and ensuring the success of our outreach efforts. The Program Coordinator will work closely with senior leadership to implement best practices, oversee program effectiveness, and support the execution of large-scale community events, including naloxone training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and implementation of Sarah’s youth education programs.
Assist in the execution of community events, including public naloxone training, awareness campaigns, and prevention-focused workshops.
Build and maintain relationships with schools, community partners, and service providers to expand program reach.
Support the Naloxone Program, ensuring effective naloxone distribution and overdose prevention education.
Track program impacts and collects data on participation and engagement.
Ensure compliance with program guidelines and reporting requirements.
Represent Sounds of Sarah at public events, meetings, and community forums.
Create and manage social media content and digital outreach to promote programs and events.
Utilize technology to manage program data, reporting, and online resources.
Work occasional evenings and weekends for scheduled community events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
