Role Description

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented storyteller to join our team! If you’re someone who lights up at the idea of using words, images, and strategy to make a difference, this might be the role for you.

 

This position will report to our Marketing & Design Manager and work closely with our leadership, events team, and program staff to bring our mission to life across all platforms. You’ll craft compelling content, lead social media strategy, support our event marketing, manage our website, and contribute to campaigns that share the impact of our programs and families.

Duties + Responsibilities:

Lead Believe In Tomorrow’s social media efforts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X

Write and edit engaging copy for email campaigns, newsletters, appeals, and more

Work closely with our events team to provide on-site communications coverage and assist with media/promotional needs

Collaborate with program staff in Ocean City (some travel may be required) to collect and share stories, photos, and video content

Manage website updates and SEO strategy

Build media relationships and assist with public relations efforts

Ensure branding and messaging consistency across all channels

Have exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills

Are organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once

Love social media strategy and know what makes content connect

Have a strong visual eye and can lead/assist with basic photography, videography, and design

Are flexible, collaborative, and excited to support events, programs, and a growing nonprofit mission

Have experience in communications, marketing, nonprofit work, or a related field (bonus if you’ve worked with tools like Constant Contact, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud)
