Program Assistant – Part-Time
We are seeking an energetic, dependable Program Assistant who enjoys working with children and spending time outdoors.
This is a hands-on role that involves supporting children’s activities, assisting staff, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment. Much of the work takes place outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff with daily activities and programs
- Engage positively with children
- Help set up and clean up activity areas
- Support hands-on learning and play
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized spaces
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Assist with general outdoor tasks as needed
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Enjoys working with children
- Is energetic, patient, dependable, and flexible
- Enjoys being outdoors and doesn’t mind getting dirty
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes initiative and can work independently
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is comfortable with an active, hands-on work environment
Qualifications
Experience working with children is preferred. Background or training in childcare, education, recreation, youth programs, or a related field is a plus.
Ideal for someone who loves working with children, enjoys being active, and prefers a job that isn’t spent sitting behind a desk.
Pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour
