The Choice is partnering with a business Association in Tysons Corner on a search for a Temporary Program Assistant to provide essential administrative and program support for a long-standing foundation initiative that is in its final phase.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for program ambassadors and grant recipients via email and phone.
Prepare, package, and mail grant-related materials.
Track outreach, communications, and updates using internal systems and spreadsheets.
Maintain accurate records and assist with light reporting as needed.
Handle sensitive documents and information with the utmost discretion.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth and timely execution of program wrap-up tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
2–3 years of administrative or program support experience, ideally in an association or nonprofit setting.
Prior experience with grant processing or financial documentation is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with databases is a plus.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when dealing with external stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A proactive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset.
