Reports To: Production Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager
Work Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:45 to 5:15 shifts required; Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
Compensation: $17.50 per hour

Position Overview:
The Production Associate is a non-supervisory position responsible for processing donated merchandise for resale. Working under the direction of store leadership, this role sorts, inspects, cleans, prices, tags, and prepares donated goods for the sales floor while maintaining productivity, quality standards, and a safe, organized production area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sort donated merchandise into sellable, recyclable, and salvage categories.
- Inspect donations for quality, cleanliness, safety, and resale value.
- Price and tag merchandise according to Bella’s Voice pricing standards.
- Prepare merchandise for display by cleaning, organizing, and packaging items.
- Move processed merchandise to the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other approved equipment.
- Assist with unloading donations and moving merchandise throughout the store.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, volunteers, and donors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
- Report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Retail, warehouse, production, or thrift experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience pricing or sorting donated merchandise.
- Knowledge of clothing brands, housewares, antiques, or collectibles is a plus.
Success During Your First 90 Days:
- Demonstrate consistent productivity while accurately sorting, pricing, and preparing donated merchandise according to Bella’s Voice standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production area while following all safety procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, volunteers, and donors through teamwork and professionalism.
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and a commitment to Bella’s Voice’s mission and values.
