We are seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Officer to support an EU-funded VOD platform. This full-time, remote role is ideal for a candidate with a solid background in EU-compliant procurement and nonprofit grant operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with SYVIC financial procedures and EU donor policies and regulations.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services in line with the procurement plan.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and risk-reduction strategies.
• Develop and maintain a regularly updated vendor database.
• Track procurement workflows and support continuous process improvement.
• Assist operational management in preparing and submitting procurement documentation and forms.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready procurement records.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the nonprofit or EU donor-funded sector.
• In-depth knowledge of EU procurement regulations and donor compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Excellent professional proficiency in English and working knowledge of Arabic.
