Prevention Specialist Jobs in Wentzville, MO at Compass Health Network

Compensation: $19.37/hour

The Prevention Specialists are part-time positions responsible for facilitating assigned programs/seminars to middle school students.

This is a part time position working with middle school students facilitating topics such as Conflict Resolution, Child Abuse Prevention, Diversity & Acceptance, Cyber Bullying, and Healthy Relationships. Candidates schedule will follow the schedule of the schools they serve. For training purposes, candidate must be available to work 5 days per week to start. Upon training completion, they will work approximately 3-5 days/week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC:

Facilitate programming as assigned by the Director of Prevention.
Assist students in locating appropriate referrals/resources within the schools and the community.
Assist school personnel with student disclosures which may lead to problematic or risk-taking behavior.
Attend trainings on new curriculum as assigned by the Prevention Director
Regular attendance (except as excused)
Attend all trainings as required by Compass Health, Accreditors, and Funders.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Mental Health related field preferred
